Every is hiring a marketing associate to keep our marketing projects moving and take ownership of smaller initiatives from brief to delivery. Project management is the most important skill in this role. You’re exceptionally organized, follow through on the details, and can turn a loose conversation into a plan people can act on.
You’ll manage timelines, coordinate contributors, and keep work moving through feedback and approvals. You’ll also develop useful first drafts: if we need a website written or a concept for a partnership, you should be able to take the brief, gather the inputs, and give the team something to build on. Strong writing and experience with AI tools will help you do that work well. Creative thinking, design, and copywriting experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Every is a media and technology company helping people learn to work with AI as fast as it changes. We publish, build software, and teach what we learn. You’ll work closely with our head of marketing and teammates across the company, learning how ideas become campaigns and how those campaigns reach an audience.
What you’ll do
- Run day-to-day project management for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives. Build timelines, clarify who owns each next step, track dependencies, and follow through until the work ships. Independently own smaller projects handed off by our head of marketing, from clarifying the brief to coordinating reviews and delivery.
- Keep our marketing and content calendars current. Know what’s going out, what’s waiting on feedback, and what needs a decision.
- Coordinate production with writers, designers, product teams, and outside collaborators. Write clear briefs, consolidate feedback, manage approvals, and make sure final assets are ready when needed.
- Develop first drafts of website copy, partnership concepts, emails, social posts, presentations, and internal briefs. Research what you need, turn direction into clear work, and improve it through feedback.
- Help manage our social channels with our head of social. Prepare and publish posts when necessary, adapt content for each platform, track audience responses, and bring useful ideas back to the team.
- Use AI tools and agents to research, organize information, build workflows, and speed up production. Turn recurring tasks into systems the team can use again.
- Gather campaign results and audience feedback. Help us understand what worked, what missed, and what we should change next time.
- Spot problems early and help solve them. If a deadline is slipping or a brief is missing something, raise it while there’s still time to act.
What we’re looking for
- Project management is your strongest skill. You’re the person people trust to keep a complicated project organized. You can turn a loose conversation into a workable plan, keep several projects moving, and follow through without someone chasing you.
- You’re a strong, clear writer who can produce a useful first draft from a brief or rough notes. You can explain an idea simply, edit your own work, and respond thoughtfully to feedback. Your project updates are as clear as your public-facing copy.
- You have hands-on experience using AI tools for work and can show us something useful you’ve made or improved with them. You’re either already fluent with AI tools, agents, and workflows or ready to get up to speed quickly through active experimentation. You check their work and take responsibility for the result.
- You move quickly and follow through. You ask good questions, flag uncertainty early, and come back with a proposed next step.
- You care about how things look, sound, and feel. You notice weak copy, inconsistent design, and details that make work feel unfinished.
